|Minnesota||Minnesota Pipeline Community Awareness Emergency Response, or "MNCAER," is a PERI-like entity that meets regularly to collectively provide pipeline safety information to Minnesota emergency officials, including local fire, law enforcement and others through the enhanced awareness of pipeline emergencies, availability of member resources and emergency response capabilities.||
|South Dakota||In July 2019, PHMSA began discussions to initiate the South Dakota PERI (SDPERI). An information meeting was held on August 28, 2019. A first steering committee meeting was held October 9, 2019, followed by a second in December 2019. In January 2021, the SDPERI decided to discontinue meeting on its own and will instead convene as a subgroup to the South Dakota Pipeline Association.||
